Beth Weaver is a senior public relations consultant with deep experience in nonprofit, federal government, agency and in-house communications. She provides strategic planning, media relations, public affairs, public awareness campaigns and stakeholder coordination for clients.Beth has led communications strategies and public awareness campaigns for the U.S. Department of Energy, DC Water, U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, Advocates for Highway and Auto Safety, Institute for Safer Trucking, KidsnCars, and BrightFocus Foundation. She served as director of the Office of Public Affairs at the U.S. Department of the Treasury during the Clinton Administration. As director of communications for the National Association of Police Organizations, Beth directed media relations and launched a national awards show. She worked for the Brady Campaign Against Gun Violence supporting passage of the landmark Brady Bill.Beth served on the Board of the Capitol View Park Citizens Association for several years where she led pedestrian safety efforts for a neighborhood sidewalk and established an annual fundraiser benefitting A Wider Circle.
