In my role as Operations Manager and Co-owner of The Wag Pack, I had the responsibility of managing day-to-day operations and overseeing a team of 10-20 staff members while also ensuring that over 400 clients received top-notch service. Project planning and management were key components of my role, as I regularly oversaw major changes, identified and resolved issues, and managed employment lifecycles.One of my greatest achievements was implementing new methods, practices, and systems to streamline onboarding time and reduce errors. I also took a proactive approach to identify and address any unauthorized, unsafe, or ineffective practices, ensuring that we maintained our high standard of service.As a leader, I was instrumental in driving initiatives to improve the work environment, company culture, and overall business strategy. To support this effort, I developed effective systems to track and log work issues, allowing for quick and efficient problem resolution.In addition to managing the team, I was also hands-on in providing services directly to clients in their homes. Despite our efforts, The Wag Pack was unfortunately unable to survive the COVID pandemic and was officially closed in 2021.
