I was responsible for many general HR Manager duties including, but not limited to the following: Benefits plan design, administration, and annual open enrollment processes and communications.Full life cycle recruiting, including executive recruiting, campus recruiting, and experienced hires.Employee Relations including investigations, disciplinary counseling, and unemployment claims.Payroll including management of a payroll conversion and oversight of the payroll processes.Compensation including internal equity, promotions, external benchmark matching, and salary recommendations.Organizational Development including employee engagement survey, organizational structuring, coaching, and implementation of performance management processes.Compliance related matters including workers compensation, short term disability case management, and basic company policies related to FMLA, vacation, attendance, etc.

I have designed, implemented, and program managed global high potential leadership development programs for Engineering, Finance, HR, and IT. This has included creating and facilitating webinars, facilitating in-person training, developing coaching and mentoring guides, and creating numerous communications. In this role, I have worked with global teams on action learning projects, individual development planning, content review, and program design. I have also facilitated several meetings with senior level leaders throughout the organization to get buy-in on program design, key milestones, and program participants.

I managed HR and Communications Projects, ran and analyzed HR monthly metrics, and organized special projects as needed.

During my time at Marathon I held two roles. The most recent role I had was a rotational expat position as a Career Development Coordinator. In that position, I created, implemented, and managed a high potential leadership development program for local employees native to Equatorial Guinea. The first role I had at Marathon Oil was as an HR Consultant. In this role I supported Administrative Services and Finance. I assisted with recruiting, making salary recommendations, advising leadership and employees on policies, handling employee relations, developing and facilitating training, and assisting with benefits questions. I also managed HR projects and assisted with employee engagement initiatives.
