Guide and oversee labor contract administration, negotiations and arbitration with the organizations representing locomotive engineers and trainmen working on over half of Union Pacific's 23,000 rail miles. Responsible for ensuring the Company maximizes labor savings and maintains a workforce that supports operational objectives through cost control efforts and sound enforcement of work rules. Assist with developing and implementing labor relations strategies designed to maximize resource productivity, achieve world-class safety, and enhance employee engagement.
