I currently work from home as a graphic designer for twinkle. My day-to-day jobs is to design learning resourced for teachers and educators to use to teach children aged 3-16 in many different settings. I currently work on Australian design Team of five as well as the content writers. Working from home means I must communicate with the team virtually. The resources we make have a use variety such as interactive PDF, cut out displays, word searches and many more. I use two main software’s, Microsoft, InDesign, photoshop and illustrator. Our job role follows the start to uploading it to the website.

I worked as a Freelancer Designer presently. I designed two magazines for clients (1) Scrum -a Rugby Magazine and (2) a magazine called Facts, which is about Commercial TransportNews. I deal with all the design process of the magazines from layout to print and digitaluploads.

I worked as a Project Worker at Teens+ where I work with adults who have disabilities. During my time here I have since been taught BSL and sign along. I use my design skills to do tasks with the students at Teens+. As many of the students are non-verbal and use aids to help them talk, one of the tasks I did a lot of is doing arts and crafts with the students. I use my design skills to create vectors and visual tasks for the students where I and incorporate them into games, activities and life-skill tasks for them to do, while I work with the students. I find this is the most rewarding part of the job. I also started doing Teens Plus newsletter weekly managing a team of six people distribution tasks equally and then designing the newsletter myself and sending it to the printers. I have really enjoyed using my skills and creating a newsletter.

Working with Graphic designers in a small creative agency that covers all areas of design. I was given two briefs to complete during my time there. At the end of the week, I had to show my work to the team and receive feedback. I was also invited to join the team brainstorm session for ideas for a campaign and helped with a few design jobs for their clients.
