Associate Artistic Director, Senior Leadership, Project Management, Event ManagementResponsible for the oversight and facilitation of day-to-day artistic operations and supervision of department staff (full-time and contractors) while developing strategies to improve, sustain, and expand programming in alignment with Cleveland Public Theatre’s mission.Senior Leadership• Member of senior management team as a strategic thought leader on short and long-term organizational goals and challenges.• Manage production department (2016-2021): staff management, construction schedules, budget management, maintaining equipment (theatrical lighting, video, sound, and machinery), and aligning organizational priorities with department capacity and goals.• Manage department staff, seasonal staff, and independent contractors.• Recruit, hire, and mentor early career professionals.Project Management• Project Manage annual season of 6-12 productions, two presented series, two large scale multivenue events, and three new play development programs. Includes interviewing and hiring project staff, negotiating and creating contracts, maintaining and overseeing project budgets, creating and maintaining project calendars, working cross-departmentally to ensure alignment with organizational goals and mission.• Budget management and reporting.Event Management• Manage and direct annual fundraiser, engaging over 300 local artists performing on 20+ stages simultaneously. Responsibilities include event curation (booking performances and event schedule, layout, and design), artist management, technical implementation (design, sound, lights, video), vendor management, contract negotiation, and overall event direction.
