Experienced in working on a variety of sustainable transport and active travel projects. From collaborative design placemaking to facilitating uptake of cargo bike projects across Scotland. To tackle climate change effectively we need to act with intention and how we live and work together in communities and cities plays a major role in this. By working together and bringing communities together, inspiring others and dispelling myths will play a major role in voices being heard. Passionate about sharing knowledge, I am a skilled instructor, coach and mentor with experienced in supporting people with protected characteristics to access and participate in active travel and other sporting activities. A Cycling Scotland Cycle Trainer and British Cycling Breeze Champion, supporting women feel more confident and comfortable about cycling and walking, via arranging local activities and sessions, plus a Nordic Walking Instructor.With a love of the outdoors and a commitment to environmental sustainability I care about the environments that I play in. Woodland dog walks with my fun loving springer spaniel, surfing in the sea, swimming in the river, skiing, snowboarding and mountain biking in the hills. With a love of the land, it’s wildlife and good food, I love fruit and vegetable growing in my allotment, cooking, baking and experimenting with fermentation. Strong education professional with a Bachelor’s Degree focused in Ecological Sciences with honours in Zoology from The University of Edinburgh.
