My journey began with a personal battle against chronic headaches and migraine, which ignited a passion to find lasting results for others experiencing these conditions. My approach is holistic and patient-centered. I delve deep, understanding that each individual's pain is unique, influenced by personal experiences, lifestyle, and health. I collaborate with my patients, helping identify what their contributing factors are, create individualized treatment plans to help address these factors, and utilize hands-on treatment and rehabilitation exercises based on personal needs. Empowering patients is a priority; I provide the tools and knowledge they need to help regain control of their health. In order to help patients achieve the best results, this can sometimes involve utilising the knowledge and skills of other professionals in their area of expertise. I've built a strong referral network, connecting with GPs, osteopaths, physiotherapists, naturopaths, dieticians, dentists, gynaecologists, myotherapists, plastic and reconstructive surgeon, psychologists and more. This collaborative effort reflects a shared commitment to patient-centered care.I was humbled to be awarded the VeDA OWL award in 2023, and I've been fortunate to serve as a team leader, trainer, and mentor. My leadership style values open communication and collaboration, creating a harmonious workplace culture that ultimately benefits practitioners and patients alike. Beyond the clinic, I'm deeply committed to advancing the knowledge and skills of healthcare providers in the field of headache and migraine. I have provided education and awareness to professionals through guest featuring on a podcast, hosting several webinars for Osteopathy Australia, authoring articles, and hosting educational workshops and seminars at allied health clinics. I am also a Supervising Clinician to the Osteopathy Students in the RMIT Health Clinic. My dedication further extends to the general public, where I regularly share educational content, raise awareness, and advocate for these invisible illnesses. My overarching goal is to contribute to a well-informed society where those living with headaches and migraine have access to essential resources and support, improving their quality of life.Above all, I'm driven by a vision where individuals living with headaches and migraine receive the best possible care, grounded in well-rounded, informed, and individualized treatment in order to attain the best results possible, regain control, and live a life no longer ruled by headaches and migraine.
