Accounting Manager
Current• Revenue activities – process daily cash receipts, billing oversight, and collections• Expense activities – schedule and track monthly expenses, approve expenses, and ensure expenses are properly coded• HR activities – maintain personnel files, monitor vacation time, onboard new hires, monitor attorney CLE requirements• Process bi-weekly payroll• Prepare daily, weekly, monthly, and annual reporting for management and provide analysis• Prepare and enter daily, monthly, and annual journal entries• Maintain external relationships with accounting firms, banks, and other vendors• Assist in developing, documenting, and implementing financial processes and procedures• Assist in the annual budgeting process• Ensure timely and accurate reporting of monthly and year-end financial information• Oversee and track file closings, file storage, and future client obligations resulting from transitioned attorneys• Work with direct report(s) to establish performance goals and objectives and provide feedback to enhance professional development• Respond to ad hoc projects as assigned
