As business owner at Bethan Kate's Tearoom I baked and sold incredible bakes such as afternoon teas, cakes, and cakes from our independent tearoom in Pentyrch. During the pandemic we diversified the business to a mobile service, delivering our bakes to people in the local area.I was also responsible for all the marketing of the business, combining my passion of creativity and people to build a loyal social media following along the way.

-Responsible for market research and learning the Malaysian/Far East market-Developed a market strategy plan for improvement of already existing in house brands as well as for improvement of in store visual merchandising and advertising-Designed and produced a promotion photo shoot for exsisting in house brands-Sourced new footwear factory in Penang for potential new brand-Independently designed new brand and range of footwear

-Sole Footwear Designer of Ladies and Mens ranges-Essential freehand designing skills as well as complete use of Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator-Exstensive knowledge of branding and trend forecasting-Travel to attend Footwear Industrial Shows, Trend Forecasting and Sourcing Shows including GDS, Dusseldorf and PV & TexWorld, Paris-Build up a supplier network of new contacts and suitable factories-Dealing with the Far East factories to develop new and exsisting styles as well as sourcing new and exciting materials and production techniques-Design, develop and produce packaging/swing ticketing as well as suitable branding-Coordinate and arrange reciept of protoype samples and/or strike off to aid product development

-Designing for high street brands including River Island, Peacocks, New Look and Next. -Unique designing as well as Made to order designing for above companies.-Travel to the Far East to work with factories and suppliers as well as to source suitable new materials and trims

-Designing for a variety of customers including Barratts, Next and River Island as well as independant Footwear retailers-Developing new designs and trends for exsisting and new styles-Working with customers including Barratts, Rare and Asda creating new designs suitable for their collections and brand-Working closely with Buyers, creating suitable and quality ranges -Travel to a variety of places including Milan for trend and market research and to develop and build new relationships with customers at Micam-Industry experience promoting the company and the product at International Footwear Shows including Micam and Moda
