Medical Innovators is a community of medical and healthcare professionals, working on innovative products, services and technology to advance patient outcomes, improve access to quality care and stronger, efficient health businesses. I continue as part of a small executive team, reporting directly to the CEO. My portfolio continues with responsibilities in strategic planning, marketing and innovation, along with responsibility for business related to our three outpatient clinics, sessional clinics and online physiotherapy services. I support direct reports including our Outpatients Manager and Team Leaders, Marketing, and Clinical Leaders in the areas of Children's Continence, Women's Health, Men's Health, Headache and Vestibular physiotherapy services. I am a regular contributor to Active's Leadership Development Program, including workshops on Authentic Leadership, Strengths-based Leadership, Emotional Intelligence, Motivation and Critical Conversations.

I am part of a small Executive team, reporting directly to the CEO. I oversee a portfolio of Strategic Planning, Marketing and Innovation. My key responsibilities involve: • Facilitation for the Executive, Managers and Team Leaders in strategic planning processes.• Innovation and Business Development: Responsibility for Business Development and Project Management of new and innovative opportunities for Active. This includes the establishment of new services and support for the CEO in direct engagement with key stakeholders. • Oversight of a coordinated marketing process across the practice, including support to site team leaders and direct responsibility for centralised marketing functions including publications, website and digital channels.Specific projects have included:* Design and implementation of a Leadership Coaching program for Site Team Leaders* Strategic review of specialist services for children's continence (The Mars Clinic) using a Design Thinking Methodology* Planning, customisation, change management and implementation of a Business Performance Dashboard for outpatient sites* Facilitation of a Strategic Review for Active Rehabilitation, including Vision, Values and Strategy 2016-2018, and support for changes to organisational structure * Project management for the implementation of a physiotherapy-led screening clinic for public hospital patients on the Mater Neurosurgical and Spinal Surgical waitlist.

Business of Physiotherapy - Coordinated and delivered series of 5 recorded lectures (with collaborator) as a short course on the Business of Physiotherapy Practice for final year Undergraduate and Graduate Entry Masters Physiotherapy Students. Included design and marking of two assessments. Guest Lecturer - Innovation and Technology in Physiotherapy Practice (2nd Year Undergraduate Physiotherapy Students) - 2018, 2019, 2020 (recorded).

Clinical Lead Presenter, Clinical Informatics Program (August 2010-January 2011)• Delivered a series of presentations to Queensland Health staff in a state-wide Consultation Event in order to demonstrate and gain feedback on the proposed electronic medical record system. With four teams working concurrently, consultation sessions were attended by over 4000 Queensland Health staff, including clinicians, administrators and executive. Feedback from this event informed the eHealth Program’s ongoing procurement process. • Managed a team of Queensland Health and PwC staff to conduct analysis of the feedback from the Consultation Event; authored and co-ordinated others’ input to the final report for the Consultation Event for presentation to the eHealth Board of Directors.

eHealth Program Benefits Realisation Manager AO8 (July 2009-September 2010)• Led the design and implementation of Benefits Realisation Management for Queensland Health’s eHealth Program. This consisted of four elements: a Framework to guide investments; an Engagement Approach that drives benefits at districts and facilities where care is delivered; a Methodology with supporting template resources that guides projects and programs through a lifecycle of benefit realisation; and a Governance System that uses ongoing monitoring to actively track and manage benefit realisation.• Recruited and trained a team of Queensland Health resources• Authored and presented a paper on Benefits Realisation Management in eHealth at the Health Informatics Society of Australia’s Health Informatics Conference (2010

During this time I was partly seconded to the Queensland Health eHealth Program as part of an Alliance between PwC and Queensland Health. I undertook multiple positions as the eHealth Program Benefits Realisation Manager, Benefits/Change Manager within the iEMR Program along with contribution to a variety of other PwC Consulting Projects. One of these projects included: Lead Clinical Consultant, Outpatient Improvement Project, Cairns Base Hospital 2009• Engaged to assist Cairns Base Hospital institute processes to manage significant public waitlists in Cardiology and Orthopaedics• Led the systematic evaluation of the waitlist and supporting business processes. Analysis and recommendations were provided for the local project team to implement changes and support provided during the early implementation phase.
