I work as a bar maid in a club in Leeds called Playroom which is very fast-paced environment. We want the bar to run as smoothly as possible by communicating well with other bar members and customers. Also keeping relaxed and thinking clearly so as to memorise cocktails and where drinks and mixers are located on the speed rails so you can be as quick as possible.

As a student ambassador I help with open days at the university speaking to prospective students and answering any of their questions. I also assist with directing tours of the campus and directions around the university. This has helped me gain professionalism skills as we have to show ourselves in a professional manner as we are representing our university.

I worked full time temporarily over my summer for Party Hard Travel who I previously worked for as a rep. Rather than working abroad I worked remotely online in the UK. I worked as part the sales team boosting sales for their peak months as well as doing website changes and working with other companies such as Get Your Guide to sell our products on. I also did customer service work each morning dealing with customers queries and changing details on their bookings for them. The role also included checking company reviews and keeping track of the destinations social media and top content to see areas we needed to boost our content and sales.

I had a summer job working as a travel rep for Party Hard Travel. I first started working in Ayia Napa and then I got sent to Malta which we set up as a new destination for the company. I loved getting the opportunity to work on my own and be independent. I learnt so much from this experience, getting to speak with business owners and events managers to decide on details for the event such as drinks tokens and extras for our guests. My favourite part was the relationships I created and getting to meet new people each week and making sure they had a great experience with the company.

Whilst at university, I have worked as a bar maid in a local bar, this has helped develop my team working skills as we are a small business, it is important that the team works together. Common sense and quick-thinking skills are needed when dealing with customers as a situation can develop and escalate quickly and needs to be dealt with efficiently for the customer. My job roles included, serving drinks, cleaning, serving food, washing up and talking to customers and helping with any problems. I am hard working as I believe you will get more opportunities in life when you work for it. For this reason, I love to seek out new opportunities that excite me.

I worked as a cleaner alongside other part time jobs which helped with my organizational skills and time management each week. I learnt how to work quickly yet efficiently as we had a quick turn around and had to stick to deadlines. We worked in teams to get the job done as quickly and efficiently as possible so the holiday homes were in perfect condition for the next guests.

The equestrian yard that I worked at would run summer camps where I would be required to provide good customer service and energy so that they could have the best experience possible. They also run as a riding school throughout the winter months where I would help teach children between the ages of 3 - 12 years old the basic needs of caring for a horse and riding skills. In addition to this, I undertook basic health and safety training to allow the customers to feel safe and comfortable in my care. Aside from teaching I would help at the stables with caring for the animals such as grooming, feeding mucking out and general yard duties.
