Promoted more than 120 events, programs and services to area residents. Developed new marketing strategies, launched sponsorship and advertising programs, identified appropriate media outlets, wrote content, forged community partnerships, and served as the town liaison on various committees.

Responsible for business development and lead generation programs for a global B2B solutions provider. Lead initiative to brand Innovate as the leading service provider for book publishers and libraries. Provided strategic direction for corporate marketing plans.

Worked with meeting planners to bring citywide convention business to the new Raleigh Convention Center via networking events, field sales efforts and industry trade shows. Primary market was national associations in the Washington DC area.

Developed and managed the startup corporate partnership program including recruitment, marketing, client communications, budgeting and reporting. Managed the exhibitor marketing program for the annual convention and other events.
