I am interested in the places we call home, the cities we feel connected to and the environments we are a part of. I’m also interested in the economics at play and how those systems can be evolved. Currently an architect and director of Programm Works, a hybrid design practice pursuing an experiential and tactile approach to architecture, objects and wares.Previously an Architect at Izat Arundell in Edinburgh – a practice focussed on private dwellings and the use of native materials in collaboration with local craftspeople. Previous to this I spent a few years working with NLÉ in Amsterdam – an architecture and urban design practice focussed on innovative approaches to densely populated mega-cities around the globe. This experience broadened my perspective on possible solutions and afforded me the experience of working with MoMA NYC, Maas Antwerp and Vitra Design Museum.Whilst professionally I am an Architect, my background has always been multidisciplinary. In 2018 I co-founded a visual communication studio, House of Folk, where we worked with global brands from the likes of Universal Records and Puma to Milan Design Week.
