I first started volunteering at my local community center where I book customers; ensure polices are updated and that the center are maintained up to a high standard within the hygine and safety policies through conducting fire alarm tests. I'd also engage with my local community through my friendly attitude to understand what events and shows locals want and advertise these through creating posters and advertisments on their social media. My experience, at Mcdonalds has allowed me to work within a large team, within a fast paced environment where I've multitask at multiple stations to serve customers in a fast and friendly mannner. Whilst maintaining team morale, through clear communication on what customers and stations need to maintain health and safety standards.Currently within my third year of university, which moving to Leeds has given me incredibly opportunities to explore future career paths and connect with people of different walks of life. Which has made me realise how my passion for researching by collecting, cleaning and weighting a pleathora of data to inform businesses on the current local markets to find a gap in the market; helping those in need through my work experience the Ivison Trust through acting as a researcher where I created data presentations on the risk factors of what makes children at risk of criminal and sexual exploitation and conduct interviews to with liasion officers on how these risks arise due to the limits within educational and police safeguarding to turn the qualititve data into quantitive data using SPSS software.These opportunities have grown my skills in:- Customer relations where I've resolved customer issues through taking an empathetic standpoint and listening to their concerns. - Communication through listening to customers, communities and collegues concerns whilst maintaing a culturally-conscious mindset.-Using softwares such as SPSS; R-Studio and Excel to analyse statistical data giving me an eye for detail.- Adaptability by being within a fast pace environment and working under time-limit at a fast paced environment. - Collaboration skills by working within close-knit and large networks of teams where my communication skills allow me to look at the bigger picture.I hope to find opportunities where I can grow my skills and connect with more people within a company that values making a positive difference; inclusivity; honesty and growth.
