Passionate about all sport with a deep interest in helping women and girls get and stay active, to experience the countless benefits of physical activity and healthy living. Currently employed as Women in Sport Manager at Sport Ireland, tasked with implementing the Sport Ireland Policy on Women In Sport. This policy aims to increase female involvement across all areas of sport with four key target areas; Leadership and Governance, Coaching and Officiating, Active Participation and Visibility. An exciting area of this role is collaborating and communicating with multiple stakeholders to implement the Policy within their domain, this includes working closely with Local Sports Partnerships and the National Governing Bodies of sport.Previously Women in Sport Lead at Swim Ireland, with the responsibility of leading out on and implementing programmes, policies and initiatives to promote and encourage females in aquatic sports across t6he island of Ireland.Former member of the Irish National Swimming Team representing Ireland at multiple European Championships, World University Games; and Northern Ireland at the Commonwealth Games.
