After taking the first step into my high school agricultural classroom, I learned that I wanted my career to be an agricultural educator. Being in this classroom, I grew in many areas of my life. After starting my ag classes, I got highly involved in FFA. Learning foundational leadership skills is where I felt I belonged. FFA was all I did in high school. I was dedicated to serving my Chapter and served three years as an officer. I competed in Opening and Closing, Parliamentary Procedure, and Prepared Public Speaking. I credit all of my success to being in FFA. FFA has inspired me to become an agricultural educator and FFA advisor. I believe that today's generations are the future of agriculture. I will inspire youth to become agriculturists, doctors, lawyers, and skilled laborers. In my classroom, students will know they are capable of achieving their goals and dreams. I am currently seeking a Bachelor's Degree in Agricultural Education Leadership and Communications (AELC), with the hopes of becoming an agricultural educator. Determined, personable, approachable, consistent, and honest, are words that peers, teachers, and colleagues use to describe me. Peers, have oftentimes come to me with problems, and I have, to the best of my ability, provided solutions. Education is where my heart is, and I have finally found the next step in life where I belong.
