As an educational leader and improvement specialist with 19 years of experience in K -12 education, I am skilled in supporting teams, organizations, and networks to reach their improvement goals through the practical use of improvement science, systematic professional learning, and inclusive strategies and processes for building community and organizational health. I currently serve as Communications Liaison/Data Analyst for Project On-Track, a 26-month community partnership initiative providing students in 18 East Tennessee school districts in grades 1-8 high-dosage literacy and math tutoring within the Tennessee Department of Education's TN ALL Corps initiative. Previous roles include Director of Professional Learning for the Niswonger Foundation's Rural LIFE Initiative, Director of Improvement Networks for a statewide networked improvement community (Tennessee Early Literacy Network), Tennessee Department of Education literacy consultant, high school administrator, and middle school English Language Arts teacher. In 2017, I was recognized as a change management leader through Catalyst:Ed, a national nonprofit serving to help organizations innovate, excel, and scale improvement efforts across various contexts.
