I read mechanical plans to create accurate Take-Offs, managed bid requests & documents using CRM software, assigned jobs to salespeople for estimating, assisted in all bid processes, corresponded with customers to ensure all needs are met, and obtained external bids as required for each quoting opportunity.

With the help of two friends, we created a community service organization that promoted community involvement, town revitalization, grassroots planning, and healthy living. We founded the largest and most successful Farmer's Market in Lockhart, TX, the Main Street Market, which connected residents with their nearby farmers, while encouraging healthy, local, & sustainable food sources.I was responsible for the creation and maintenance of the website, writing and distribution of the weekly newsletter Main St. Monitor, creating and delivering public presentations, as well as managing technical writing documents, community calendar synchronization, online videos, & social media coverage using media management programs. We built the organization from 3 co-founders to hundreds of members, with a ten member democratic board, in only one month. After a couple of years, as we had build a self-operating & thriving weekly farmer’s market, and we had all moved to other parts of the country, the board agreed to disband. However, the farmer's market lives on.

I conducted classes in solo and team teaching environments in order to provide lessons to around 600 students. I created lesson plans that focused on vocabulary, conversational abilities, pronunciation, & listening skills by using personal experience, knowledge, history, customs, and American culture.Further, I provided guidance in proper usage and meaning of words and phrases in easily understood terms to both students and the native Chinese teachers of English. In addition to the regular classes, I served as an extracurricular student resource by conversing at “English Corner” each Friday. By living in a foreign environment, I truly utilized my ability to adapt and overcome the language barrier.

-Created technical documents taken from dictation, contacting vendors for necessary paperwork, & compiling Quote Submittals and Operation & -Maintenance Manuals for clients.-Optimized & maintained cross-account filing systems [Paper, Digital] for all orders, increasing efficiency of information management.-Performed direct billing/invoicing, professional collection calls, order tracking, arranging employee travel, mail processing, spreadsheet creation, data entry, creating Credit Reference Files by contacting financial and personal references, and new employee hiring & training. -Organized and hosted social & professional events.-Operated office machinery, such as fax machines, printers, postage machines, et al.-Customer service, answering and directing calls using a 20-line telephone. -Ordered & restocked office supplies.

I performed all the required safety & emergency equipment checks, while following all typical flight procedures, in order to provide the safest and most enjoyable flight experience to all passengers (in a surprisingly high-stress atmosphere).
