With Christalis, I do a variety of tasks that support our programs in Uganda. I cross check US accounts with accounts in Uganda. I communicate and process new donors and update current donors on events, children, and other information. I keep open communication with staff in Uganda and respond quickly to any issues that arise. I review and file cash approvals, cash requests, and payroll for employees in Uganda. I also update our website.

I designed and currently teach Social Justice to 5th and 6th grade girls. I teach health and girls empowerment to 5th and 6th grade girls while also assisting in Math classes. I am an advocate for a recent refugee student from Thailand and coordinate her classes and schedule with other teachers and staff.

I developed monitoring and evaluation frameworks for two education programs, implemented, and trained local staff on monitoring tools for programs. I used my research from graduate thesis to provide recommendations to improve the Boys for Positive Change program by conducting focus groups, key informant interviews, observations, and survey analysis.

I facilitated the girls after school empowerment program by providing a safe place for the girls to discuss issues relating to gender equality and girl's leadership. I assisted the girls in developing a service-learning project and helped the implement the project in the town. I collaborated on planning two women leadership conferences and one university outing for the girls.
