I am a Certified Medical Assistant. In my first two years at Comprehensive Neurology Center, I maintained the front office, checked patients in, booked new patient appointments, maintained incoming and outgoing faxes, insurance verifications, prior authorizations, and answered multiple phone lines. To maintain good patient flow, I also brought patients back and took vital signs, patient histories and prepared injections when needed.Eventually I became the new patient referral coordinator and set new patient appointments and established good relationships with other referral coordinators in many offices in the Murfreesboro, Spring Hill, and Brentwood areas. I have progressed with my company and am now in the billing department. I post payments from insurances. I work aging claims and I am in charge of sending statements at the end of ever month and collections.

Multiple phone lines, copying, faxing, Insurance Verification, Filing, Rooming patients, Pre testing eye exams using a refractor and air-puff Tonometer, Ordering stock, and Sales.
