Children’s Health Queensland Retrieval Service (CHQRS) is the State-wide Paediatric Retrieval Service for Queensland. It provides advice, stabilizes, retrieves and transports neonates and children from hospitals throughout Queensland and Northern New South Wales.In this CN role, I apply advanced clinical and problem-solving skills, expert planning and coordination skills in the clinical management during a paediatric critical care retrieval of patients/residents/clients with complex care needs, ensuring quality standards are met. This role works autonomously within the Healthcare Team structure and is pivotal in the planning, managing and delivering of specialist paediatric critical care retrieval nursing care.
