As Fundraising Team Manager I led on British Red Cross’ nationwide telephone campaigns raising over £1m pa, overseeing a wide variety of public telephone campaigns such as reactivation, upgrade and emergency appeals, raising money for causes such as loneliness in the UK and the Syrian Refugee Crisis Appeal.

Following a turbulent and challenging time in the telephone-fundraising sector, I set up and managed an industry-first, dedicated telephone fundraising team which undertook outbound fundraising calls for British Red Cross. Reported to senior stakeholders within our operator Connect Assist and British Red Cross, while line managing two supervisors and a large team of telephone fundraisers.
