Bethany brings a comprehensive background of knowledge and experience into her practice. Bethany uses a range of evidence based therapies, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Schema Therapy, Psychoanalytic Therapy, EMDR therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and other mindfulness based therapies. Principles of positive psychology also strongly guide her practice. Bethany has worked with both children and adults in supporting them overcome a wide range of emotional and psychological difficulties, including anxiety, depression, burnout and stress, addiction, eating disorders, unprocessed trauma and abuse, relationship problems, behavioural difficulties and attachment problems. Her clinical experience has allowed her to work with various population groups, including disadvantaged populations and indigenous communities.Bethany is a guest speaker and offers a variety of workshops to improve mental health awareness. She is also a certified Circle of Security professional and group facilitator.
