Project 1: Coded current AHEPPP membership demographics in a database and then created a visual report of the data to share with my intern supervisor and the AHEPPP Board of Directors. AHEPPP is striving to widen their outreach to institutions of unique demographics (HSI-Hispanic Serving Institutions, HBCU-Historically Black Colleges and Universities, ASI-Asian American Serving Institutions, and Tribal Institutions). The outreach is primarily targeted toward institutions within the United States.Project 2: Built a prospective institutional member list incorporating targeted demographics (HSI, HBCU, ASI, and Tribal) that the AHEPPP staff can use for their outreach campaign. I then prepared a visual report to share with my intern supervisor and the AHEPPP Board of Directors.Professional Readings: I was also provided with various professional readings. One in particular is a book published through AHEPPP entitled "College Ready." I received a broadened perspective of the many institutional demographics that exist, and how important it is for AHEPPP to cater to their needs.

Gained valuable nonverbal communication skills in creating content for BYU-Idaho's Parent and Family Newsletters. Learned to communicate efficiently and regularly with parents and families over the phone and via email.

Learned and taught BYU-Idaho students skills related to time management, organization, and various study and testing strategies. Facilitated regular team meetings.

Created a family friendly environment while culturing visitors about SLC Utah pioneer history.

I loved being a counselor for many groups of youth - from Utah to Colorado to Hawaii!

Organized and coordinated both weekly and large-scale events for BYU-Idaho students to enjoy as an event coordinator on campus. Directed and managed one of BYU-Idaho’s largest student events on campus for incoming students.

As a zipline guide I helped to create a fun and memorable family experience for those visiting Keana Farms through an outdoor zip lining adventure!

I was a part of helping people rent out boats and jet skis, working at our Marina grill, regularly driving boats/jet skis/tractors etc. We strived to help people have a fun and safe experience while on the lake!
