Ever since I started my own babysitting business in middle school, my life's work has been about helping and teaching others. What drives me today is supporting my colleagues through learning and development so they can provide world-class technology services to school districts across the US. A perfect skill/passion combo!2. I thrive on projects. From designing programs and processes to implementing new technologies to planning events, my brain is wired to gather the small details into something great. Proof that all those hours playing Theme Park and Theme Hospital as a kid led to valuable skills.3. I live to write. I'm a published poet, have blogged, and am an aspiring author. Good writing is critical in business; our customers and colleagues deserve it. If something needs wordsmithing, put me on it! 4. Quality employee onboarding is vital. I'm proud to manage this for my team. Many new hires have said that ours is the best onboarding program that they've ever experienced.5. I value creativity and divergent thinking. These allow me to problem solve, see things with an open mind, and make our team one that people want to join.6. I don't have children. I believe that conversations about childlessness, miscarriage, and being childfree in the workplace have been overlooked by HR and professional communities for too long. I'm passionate about equity, empathy, and representation for the childless and childfree.7. I believe that the best leaders are the ones who ask how they can help make things better instead of assigning blame. One of the best ways to lose a team member is to live in shame. My motto is to learn and look forward.
