I have a Master's degree in Kinesiology: Sports Science and Health Promotion from Cal Poly Humboldt. My masters thesis was based on the biomechanics of knee instability throughout the menstrual cycle. I am currently a Performance Fit Lab Researcher at BOA®, a company that creates innovative fit solutions for footwear. My core competencies include data collection, analysis, and presentation, as well as project management. At BOA®, I assist in collecting and analyzing biomechanical data and presenting it to non-technical audiences to further innovation for the BOA system design. I have led projects focusing on adding to our 3D foot scan big data and making online applications for our internal teams to better understand the relationship between individual's foot volumes and shoe fit. I am passionate about applying biomechanics to improve human performance. I value collaboration, creativity, and curiosity, while working with a diverse and dynamic team that shares these values. I bring a unique perspective and experience to the team, as I have a background in exercise science, health promotion, and physiology, as well as a research internship at CU Boulder Integrative Physiology Locomotion Lab.
