BSc & MSc Sport and Exercise Psychology graduate. I am interested in both the Sport and Exercise fields of Psychology. Specifically, I have researched the Lost Move Syndrome within the gymnastics environment. I have explored the perspective and experience of both gymnasts and coaches. I am interested in the causes of this phenomenon and the potential effects on performance, development and wellbeing. Additionally, I have developed a passion for exercise psychology, from my placement experience. I have a keen interest in exploring how to help individuals engage in physical activity and to improve aspects like their motivation and confidence, to help them lead healthier lives, and ultimately achieve lifestyle change. Currently, I am interested in applying psychological approaches and strategies to help people change their habits, in order to live healthier lives. I aspire to be a Sport and Exercise psychologist, in the future.
