Security Officer
Current• Control access to buildings and property, protect equipment and material and perform interior and exterior facility security inspections for Missile Defense Agency (MDA)• Monitor video equipment to ensure MDA facilities are secure• Ensure doors to offices in secured areas are closed• Input data into operations log on an hourly basis; ensure all alarms are secured• Courteously and professionally interact with all personnel entering and exiting the MDA facility• Answer phone calls from other security staff and MDA personnel • Supervise front desk operations. • Register uncleared visitors and issue temporary badges. Escort uncleared personnel throughout the facility. Ensure uncleared escorted personnel are in compliance with local, base, and security requirements. • Use MDA data systems to review personnel status and reset Common Access Card
