I have been working as a house sitter/pet sitter for about 7 years now. I did all through my undergraduate studies as extra experience with animal care. I have continued it now as I am good at it and also really enjoy it. I work predominately on my own, however, I am also an official house sitter and dog walker through Rover. I have been working through Rover for the last two years.
Throughout this internship I was trained to be able to perform autopsies with limited supervision. I was also trained in interagency communications with the Denver Police Department (homicide department and traffic department) as well as within the Medical Examiner's office (pathologists, autopsy technicians, death investigators, administration, other interns, and mortuaries). Other duties included: maintaining sanitization standards for the morgue, evidence collection and handling, following chain of custody, and organizing tissue samples for short/long term storage.
