As long as I can remember, I have been attempting to streamline things in my home, work and life. I have a passion for finding the most efficient way of doing things and making room for things that matter. In the home, this ranges from things such as making a weekly meal plan to weekly chore charts for the kids to having a streamlined wardrobe to make daily routines hum. At work, I strive to make workflows as efficient as possible for as many people as possible to be able to create space for creativity and reserve decision-making power for more important things. In life in general, I am continually learning and trying different methods of discipline and self-regulation to be able to make time for things that matter most and live a balanced life.Having earned a Masters of Social Work, I gained professional skills to extend my innate desire to help others achieve their personal best. I have 25+ years of professional experience that includes project management, research, evaluation, continuous quality improvement, management of people and teams. I have obtained a Lean Six-Sigma Green Belt, a Certificate in Management and Leadership, and a Certificate in Project Management.Others have described me as warm, genuine, safe, honest and inspiring. I love to offer high challenge and encouragement to help you achieve things you didn’t think were possible. I like to help you to think critically in order to make sustainable changes in your life. I love to make connections with all kinds of people, and I especially love meeting and welcoming newcomers to Canada or to my neighbourhood. In 2019, I decided to apply all of these skills, abilities and passions to a new business venture. Together with my life partner, Greg, we launched Symplicated. Our goal is to help you simplify things in your life by cutting out the clutter - in your home, closet, schedule, and even your diet. We love helping people achieve freedom from all the 'stuff' that holds them back.
