Called to serve as CFO/VP of Finance for Ascension St. Vincent Central Region. In my current role I lead and support the strategic financial operations in the central region of Indiana. The central region includes all ministries within the 86th Street Campus including: St. Vincent Indianapolis Hospital which is a 500+ bed level one adult and pediatric trauma center/transplant center, Women’s Hospital offering high risk, level 4 maternal services, Peyton Manning Children’s Hospital offering the state’s largest level 4 NICU as well as top rated pediatric specialists, Seton LTACH offering 60 high acuity long term acute beds, and St. Vincent Stress Center offering expert behavioral health services on both an inpatient and outpatient front including an inpatient dual disorder unit. The scope of the central region also includes our four Ascension St. Vincent OP ED sites serving communities in central Indiana. I’m passionate about keeping our patients the center of all that we do at Ascension St. Vincent. Leading with a focus on strategic growth and effective cost management allowing our mission to live on for future generations.

As a financial consultant my focus is collaborating with leaders to make effective business decisions. We focus on day to day operations as well as strategic planning.

As Controller of Howard Regional Health System I had direct oversight of Accounts Payable, Fixed Assets, General Accounting, Decision Support Management and Revenue Cycle. I also was a member of the finance committee where I presented monthly financial results to the CEO,CFO, COO as well as two outside members of the finance committee. I worked directly on the financial data validating journal entries, expense variance analysis, direct reporting to our banks for bond covenants, direct relationships with our outside auditors to provide needed information. There were many aspects covered at Howard Regional as we were a smaller facility and I was able to gather much knowledge in each area.
