I am a Clinical Psychology student at the University of Texas at Arlington looking to expand the world’s knowledge about mental health and how to best treat people. I studied for a year and a half at the University of North Texas, and ultimately transferred to UTA to be closer to my family and friends. During my time at UNT, I participated in several research experiments and studies involving IQ, attention, memory, anxiety, and recognition. Since moving to UTA I have already planned to participate in more research involving my field. I took and interest in Psychology early in high school when I realized how many students are affected by poor mental health. Once the pandemic hit and the demand for psychiatrists grew, my career decision seemed obvious. I am now enjoying studying Clinical Psychology and I hope to find internships through Linked In.Alongside my education I work at a cafe in Fort Worth called Boulevard of Greens. My official job title is Mixologist, but I do all sorts of activities such as baking pastries, cooking soups, using and industrial juicer to juice fresh cold pressed juices, as well as help with cash handling and financial organization. I have lots of experience in food service and customer service from previous jobs working at a Shift Lead at Round 1, and Acting Manager at a local mom and pop shop in Denton, Tx.
