Solicitor and Architect with a passion for Construction Law. Bethany is studying for an LLM in Legal Practice (SQE 1&2) at the University of Law and has been awarded their Career Changer Scholarship. Bethany passed SQE 1 and SQE 2 on her first attempt in 2024. Bethany holds a masters in Construction Law and Dispute Resolution from King’s College London. Her dissertation researched inflation in the construction industry, in particular, the methods and outcomes employed by parties to overcome the financial burden of inflation. This involved examination of previous periods of inflation and research into case law at these times. The paper to proposed possible options to clients and contractors experiencing increased prices. Before embarking on a career move sideways into law, Bethany practiced as an architect, designing a wide range of typologies from luxury homes and extensions, to hotels and schools. Her project experience is varied covering RIBA Stage 0/1 to 6 and includes running projects on site.
