My experience includes creating beautiful and imaginative hand ties, arrangements, sympathy pieces, boutonnieres and bridal bouquets at every price point. In this position I am left alone in the shop and trusted to attend to customers, manage plant care and store upkeep, handle online and phone orders, arrange deliveries, as well as open and close the shop. Wilbe Bloomin’ is located in Kenzington market and is famous for its customer service, welcoming nature and positive energy, this is required to be emphasized by every employee and has become something that I look forward to bringing to the shop every time I work.

In this position I assisted lead designer, Kathy Lane, imagine and produce both public and private custom decor projects. Projects included; wedding decor, conferences, home decor, public decor for the town of Collingwood and Blue Mountain village, site specific decor projects, home renovations, etc. Tasks included, but weren’t limited to, installing and rigging large installations, carving, cutting, and imagining large wooden forms for site specific projects, planting and maintaining garden aspects, organizing and managing inventory, operating power tools, paint application and knowledge, heavy lifting and general labor. Conceptualized, produced, and launched a series of workshops taught by lead designer, Kathy Lane. Tasks throughout this project included website updates, content writing, designing and distributing promotional material, managing press releases, designing workshops, gathering materials, setting up workshops, and assisting throughout the duration of each workshop. Created and Managed an online presence for the company.

Responsible for the execution and take down of activations. Relied upon to ensure a positive brand experience for corporate and private clients. Expected to present an approachable yet professional image. Provide a highly interactive experience as well as maintaining technical requirements of activations. Requires social media literacy. Demands high-spirits and sociability.

Responsible for the installation, execution, and take down of “Glitter Girls” activation. Expected to provide a positive experience for both corporate and private clients. Application of glitter tattoos in a fast paced environment, efficiency was mandatory. Interaction with clients was used to gage satisfaction.

Responsible for coordinating deadlines and requirements for grant applications. Aided in writing grants as well as editing, assembling and mailing applications. Communicated with clients, businesses, and volunteers via e-mails and telephone in response to inquiries as well as outreach. Actively researched and communicated with local, national and internal galleries and artist collectives. Provided menial duties when required or requested.

Taught children and youth ages three to twenty both individually and in group settings. Group lessons ranged from three skaters to as large as twenty-five skaters. Responsible for keeping young children motivated and active. Accountable for the safety of skaters. Focused attention on skating skills, choreography, endurance and strength. Expected to create change and visible progress.
