At Invu I moved more into the digital marketing sphere. I create and post everything that is on Invu's social media including adverts, write, edit and post blogs and other content on our WordPress website, and work closely with the sales team to create monthly marketing campaigns. I now have a decent knowledge of how to effectively use each of the social media platforms we are on and can adapt my posts based on that. I have also gained skills in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, WordPress, and various Google programs such as Analytics.I also plan each of the events we attend, trying to make them varied and stand out from the crowd each time. So far we have attended 3 events that I have planned. Across all of these, I have learnt how to improve our stands for next time to better pull people in.On the more analytical side, I have gained skills in Google Analytics, Search Console, and Data Studio, as well as Microsoft Excel.

Here I worked in both the mortgage and banking departments. I took phone calls from members of the society and would aim to assist them with any problems they may have had. I also worked as a contact between the customers and the administration teams who were not customer facing. I learnt a lot of necessary office skills here, particularly in how mortgages work and the ins and outs of banking.

My responsibilities included money handling while working on both the customer service desk and the tills, dealing with various customer queries and dealing out refunds as needed, and ensuring the shop floor was clean, tidy, and easily accessible to customers.
