About Bethany Smith Mba

I am an energetic, dedicated, articulate, and intuitive person. I enjoy working in a diverse environment with a variety of daily challenges. I work best when I am challenged and require very little supervision. I have been accused of "keeping it real" when I deal with others and my sense of humor is something that I use often. I believe my day was successful if I can somehow find a way to make those around me smile or laugh. I never shy away from a challenging conversation but I feel very strongly that others deserve to be treated with care and dignity, regardless of the circumstances.     I began working at Yanfeng in January, 2016 as a production supervisor. (I began my job on a Wednesday and started a masters program at Park University on Thursday!) I loved my group of approximately 35 people, and with their help we were able to set company records for production. Almost immediately after we set the records, my group broke their own records! They are truly a wonderful group and I was proud to be their supervisor.In April of 2016 I was promoted to a Business Operation System Implementation Champion. In essence I am one member of a team that was established to assist Yanfeng (YFAI) in achieving it's goal to gain TS16949 certification for the Riverside, Missouri location. We are merging three separate Operating Systems into one set of standards with our location. My primary functions are within the operations group as well as Human Resources. My job can be very challenging at times and requires a lot of detail work and a very tenacious attitude. It requires being social at times, and firm at others. For me personally, learning how to implement a wide variety of processes from the ground up is one of the most educational experiences I have had to date.
