-Production Subject Matter Expert (SME) for production in SAP.-Lead the production team for three business units during SAP implementation. -Track, maintain and improve on time delivery, efficiency, and past due dollars.-Identify large dollars that are due in the next fiscal months and pull them into the current month for better shipment dollars.-Forecast and review sales orders daily to identify pull-in opportunities.-Plan and manage production schedules to meet customer delivery requirements and best utilize the company’s productive capacity.-Lead morning Production Meetings for delivery, sales, shipments and OTD.-Own cycle counts for a specific division.--Owner of all cycle counts for our physical inventory. -Work closely with finance for cost rolls and lot sizing strategies.-Analyze sales order releases with respect to capacity and material availability.-Answer termination or cancellation requests from sales.-Review work in process material throughout the production floor.-Communicate with manufacturing personnel, supervisors and sales on material status and production issues, daily.-Work with sales, customer service, and engineering regarding upcoming projects.-Establish and maintain relationships with our vendors for outside processing operations.--Create and track subcontract purchase orders.-Respond to expedite requests, determine expedite fee and delivery product based on promise date.
