Upon retiring from competing as part of the British Team (sports acrobatics gymnastics) at the age of 16, I started performing as a self employed contortionist alongside training performing arts (mainly dance) at Phil Winstons Theatre Works.I built my skills as I became more recognised in the entertainment industry to include aerial acrobatics, duo acrobatics, fire performance and more. I slowly moved away from club work to concentrate more on corporate events and cabaret and am proud to have an impressive list of credits over my 14 years of performing so far. Credits include the Royal Mountbatten Festival of Music at the Royal Albert Hall, performing for artists such as Travis Scott, Snoop Dogg and more and annual trips to the Maldives for Private events. When I was 24 years old I decided to invest in my first business ‘The Fantasy Tribe’ which consists of me making and selling festival clothing and accessories as well as providing entertainment and attractions to events and festivals. Over lockdown, both businesses were slow so I decided to partner up with the girls who run the popular online market place ‘wild thing’ to create a new pop up shopping concept called ‘Wild Thing & Co’ that brings both my experience in fashion and entertainment together. We successfully opened 3 shops within a 12 month time period. Each shop stocked 40-50 small independent brands whilst hosting an immersive shopping experience that includes photo walls and props, a catwalk, DJ’s and a virtual personal shopping option for people who cannot physically attend. Once lockdown lifted and business within the event sector picked back up I politely stepped away from this business as my solo ventures started booming.Alongside The Fantasy Tribe which is predominantly festival orientated, I now also now act as a consultant for events companies, proposing appropriate entertainment for their projects and providing the best performers for the job by collaborating with established freelance artists and entertainment agencies as a one stop shop for the best of each skill/act right for the job. This saves a lot of time as it avoids the companies having to liaise with multiple providers and makes use of my skill and connections from working within the industry for so long.
