Throughout my education, I have always known that I have wanted to work with children, to support them in their learning and development. My experiences began when I was approached to become a young leader with my local Girlguides group. I increasingly enjoyed planning and implementing new ideas and activities for the children to enjoy. As I began my Childcare course, I consistently learned more and progressed in my understanding of how children grow and explore the work around them. This lead on to studying Primary Education at Edge Hill University. During my variety of shool experiences, I grew a love for Learning Outside the Classroom and the impact it has on children's school experience. My opportunity to volunteer at the RAF Museum has created a love for children having the opportunity to explore new things.I have developed my knowledge and understanding of how museums, galleries, charities and companies support children and adult’s education and I have become more passionate about this ideology. I enjoy visiting a variety of different museums and seeing the ways they help visitors interpreted the collections and can continue to do so around London, UK and abroad.I believe in using children's interests and needs in supporting their education and encouraging them to discuss their interests within the classroom.
