As a learning professional in the Social Service Worker field, I am thankful for any opportunity to use my skills and abilities to help and impact the lives of others. I am passionate about empowering vulnerable children and families, building on their strengths and assisting them to reach their goals. I strive to show the clients I work with that I care. I want to demonstrate that there are more important things in this world than money, power, and status. Each and every life should be valued and respected at all times. No one is worth more or less than someone else. People are not comparable but should be seen as their own individual with their own specific circumstances and intrinsic value. As a student Social Service Worker, I want to bring a positive, uplifting outlook that encourages others to discover their own potential and thrive.
