My name is Bethany Whyte, I am 23 years old and I have a First Class Honours Degree in Psychology from Canterbury Christ Church University. I work full time as a health services administrator for Kent Police, and have had experience in care and retail in the past. My current passion and interest is within the world of Consumer Psychology. I find the human brain absolutely fascinating and am particularly interested in how this impacts our decisions as consumers, and how this can be manipulated in terms of successful marketing. I conducted my final year project in this area of Psychology, and have also completed the Google’s Digital Garage course for the Fundamentals of Digital Marketing. I am also very interested in Forensic/Criminal Psychology, and the correlations that help determine the certain characteristics that are theoretically more likely to make someone become a criminal. Profiling in particular is a realm within Forensic/Criminal Psychology that I would be very eager to learn more about. I am looking for any full time jobs or training opportunities that are available so that I can extend my existing knowledge and potentially create the foundation for my long-term career. Now that I have completed my degree, I am looking at gaining as much real-world experience as possible, which I can then hopefully apply and further strengthen once I start building my future.
