I am in the process of completing my NQT year at a primary school in central Birmingham. On a daily basis, I teach and care for 30 7-8 year old students. In this role, I have been able to develop my communication skills as I come in to contact with students, colleagues, management and parents daily. Working in a team of 6 teachers has allowed my teamwork skills to progress. Additionally, my organisational and problem-solving skills have advanced due to the fast-paced environment school environment.
