This experience has meant I attended matches in the press box across the Women's Super League and Championship during the 2023/24 season, getting the opportunity to produce comprehensive match reports and press conference pieces, covering both the pre-match and post-match aspects of the game. In addition I had the chance to work in the international game, attending matches and press conferences for national team competitions. During the summer I have contributed to the site by writing transfer news, some of which have meant I have had to research a player in depth to gain the needed information as well as using club's statements. Throughout this role, I demonstrated a keen interest in writing and reporting for the site, consistently producing high-quality content that resonated with our readership. Working in a collaborative team environment, I attended WSL and Championship clubs' press conferences, establishing strong relationships with others in the industry; which is something I hope to continue during the 2024/25 season.

Within this role I have been contributing to the team by writing transfer news and researching specific teams during the 2024 Olympics, as well as helping with editing work such as proofreading and page setup. During the Olympics in particular, I followed the French and New Zealand Women’s Football teams by writing the squad announcements, match reports, and reviews in the form of 'Four Things We Learnt'; as the tournament progressed and France and New Zealand were knocked out I contributed in the form of match previews as well as following Brazil up until the semi-finals.This role has helped me build in confidence with my writing and communication skills as well as putting into practice skills surrounding editing such as embedding images and SEO aspects.
