The farmers market (under the umbrella of the Treasure Valley Food Coalition) strives to connect local farmers, ranchers, and makers with the community. The market also works to teach children how to buy and prepare produce, and it makes local, nutrient-rich food available to low-income households through it's mobile market. My role was to help build up the market's fledgling fundraising program.

- Managed Daraja's online and peer-to-peer fundraisers.- Managed the annual gala event including logistics, donation processing, and volunteers.- Created and sent mass communications with donors including print and digital acknowledgements, newsletters, and solicitations in support of the major gifts program. - Managed the website, blog, and social media accounts and created content.- Maintained and train others on our donor database, event/auction software, and payment processors. - Took a lead in growing the Daraja tours program in Kenya.- Supervised the work of interns and volunteers in the US and Kenya. - Worked closely with the Kenyan fundraising team as well as our US board of directors.

Children's librarian working in patron services, database management, and collection development. I purchased for our Spanish collection, which required research and relationship building with new vendors. I coordinated our department's contributions to the organization's blog. I also headed one of our weekly programs as well as providing support for large departmental and library-wide programs.

This was 2 separate summer internships that totaled 9 months of work helping FamilySearch wiki patrons navigate historical record collections. Included writing and updating articles, light wiki coding, blog writing, and monitoring social networking sites for questions and concerns about the website.

This was an after-school program run through both the 4H organization and Utah State University. I was tasked with managing participant grades and teaching a fun lesson once a week that focused on academics.
