I've had a successful 9-year career in music education for both primary and secondary grade levels in public school systems across Northern California and the San Francisco Bay Area. Now, I am eager to make a change in my career trajectory to apply the skills I've developed as an educator to the private sector.I believe that my skills as an effective communicator, efficient organizer and planner, and accomplished multi-tasker would make me a valuable asset to any business seeking an experienced trainer, program manager, or assistant.I have extensive experience with planning and executing engaging lessons that are differentiated for several different learning outcomes and learner needs. I have trained and mentored employees from late teens to mid-40s and have developed an adaptable communication style to effectively work with people of many different age ranges and experiences. As a musician and educator, I have organized several events utilizing multiple vendors, volunteers and participants into the hundreds. I have created innovative systems for organization, communication and inventory management within the school systems I have worked for. I am also well-versed in managing several different projects at once and prioritizing varied timelines and deadlines, developing highly productive time management skills.As an educator, I am always learning and am used to having to adapt and learn new policies, curriculums and systems in a short time period. I handle pressure well and am a quick learner, always eager to make sure I am an expert in my field by continuously investing time in improving my craft wherever my career takes me.
