The Albany Peace Project is a 501(c)3 non-profit community outreach, sponsored by non-profit Numinous, leveraging an online mindfulness forum with more than 5500+ subscribers and 3500+ Facebook “likes”. The organization evolved to become the Global Peaceful Cities Project, PeacefulCities.org.Biofeedback is teaching meditation with accountability. Trained a group of people to conduct peace meditation research. Dozens of studies have demonstrated that when a relatively small group of people meditate for peace in an area, negative social indicators, including crime and violence decrease. Conceived/implemented strategic plan, oversaw resources, and communicated with stakeholders. Inspired and led teams of 700 volunteers/per event to bring this work into the community. Partnered with dozens of local and international groups on 3 peace meditation research studies with successful results that included:2018 - 25% reduction in violence in Schenectady, NY.2019 - 30% reduction of crime in Albany, NY.2018 study calculated that people who participated in peace projects for only eight days experienced a percentage increase in happiness by 84%. The following year, people experienced a 68% increase. Launched events and supported multi-media campaigns that promoted the work to the public and resulted in FB likes and subscribers. Recruited and collaborated with a team of 4 Board of Directors on crucial initiatives. Organized and coordinated marketing initiatives including establishing policies and procedures. Edited video, built 5 websites, and launched social media campaigns to further drive reach.Ensured that the mission was fulfilled through programs and outreach; accountable for fundraising and revenue generation.Personally raised more than $150,000.Evolved the organization into the Global Peaceful Cities Project under the current leadership, PeacefulCities.org.

Gateway House of Peace is an independently run end-of-life care home. It collaborates with the Community Hospice of Saratoga who provides the medical management for the patients as they do for anyone receiving hospice care in their own home environment. Gateway House volunteers and staff become an extended family for community residents who can no longer remain safe in their own homes during their last three months of life.Oversees operations of the home, collaborating with the Board of Directors, administration of programs, community outreach and spokesperson liaison, fundraising, and providing strategic direction.
