Managed a team of 2-3 associates, provided periodic updates to the Foundation’s funder, sought growth and expansion opportunities for Foundation programming, which involved collaboration across a wide variety of stakeholders. Was primarily responsible for the administration of the Foundation’s Philanthropy Lab initiative, a program focused on implementing experiential philanthropy courses at undergraduate universities. Provided periodic program updates to the foundation’s Funder, President and Program Director, researched growth opportunities, maintained multi-million dollar program budget, coordinated two large multi-stakeholder events annually, managed and re-designed the Philanthropy Lab website. Assisted in the launch of a multi-million dollar research project across 4 different research institutions, tracked study progress to update foundation funder & president, processed grant funding for various initiatives.

Responsible for managing relationships with University partners, consulting on marketing strategy and implementation, and seeing product requests through from ideation to completion. Wrote and edited copy for various campus publications, advertisements, and websites.

Colorado Springs, Colorado Area

USA Marketing intern involved in the planning, marketing and PR for the launch of Compassion's national walk fundraising series. Participated in leadership meetings to provide input and next steps for the pilot events. Assisted director of initiative in creating marketing material, including writing and editing copy for constituent and volunteer resources. Participated in decision making for event launch, including event concept, creative, and marketing strategy. Conducted market research to learn best practices for a new fundraising space. Worked with a consulting firm and creative agency to build on best practices. Collaboration with finance, SDS (sponsor donor services), SDP (sponsor donor processing), campaign and project management, and PR teams. With little training, jumped in from the beginning with input and used skill set to best contribute to the event planning team.
