Currently, I am a Scholarship Staff Assistant The Ohio State University. I act as a liaison between various departments at OSU, adjust and add financial aid to student aid packages, problem solve account issues, and more, Formerly, I was a Buckeye Link Counselor. In this role, I assisted students and families with the complex nature of navigating and resolving financial aid inquiries, as well as acting as a multi-office liason between the Bursar and Registrar offices. This role has a heavy emphasis on communication, empathy, and problem-solving. I graduated from The Ohio State University with a Bachelor of Science in Education, Sport Industry in December of 2021. I have a strong passion and knowledge for the sport industry and fashion industry, as well as within marketing, social media, and other similar areas. I am a former flag football and basketball athlete. I am open to a number of opportunities to grow and learn, where I can apply my knowledge and experience from major coursework, research and being a former athlete, as well as from former volunteer work. My co-workers would describe me as someone who loves to have fun at work while providing a unique, quality experience for the students, families, or customers. This often entails going above and beyond the expectations, putting love and empathy into my work, as well as making every moment right. I am dedicated to making everyone feel included, welcomed, and appreciated. I love to learn and teach others, as I worked as a trainer at Panera Bread and voted “Partner of the Quarter” by my former co-workers at Starbucks. I have worked in the customer service industry since 2017, formerly at Panera Bread (1.5 years), Starbucks (3.5 years), recently at Buckeye Link (1 year) and now in the Financial Aid Office (1 year).
