After studying at Edinboro University and Slippery Rock University I've become well rounded in the fields of music performance and Communication. I've worked many different jobs in retail that have provided me with plenty of experience in working with others and making sales, as well as work in hospitality.I began at Edinboro University in 2012 studying visual arts and music performance. I was trained classically as a vocalist from the age of 10 onward, which provided me with a good amount of experience when going into the performance field. I have an extensive background in performance with 10 years of competitive figure skating, theater, and voice training.After a couple of years at Edinboro I decided to transfer to Slippery Rock University for a new experience in the field of Communication. My passion for people and media provided me with inspiration to study this field, and as a BA, I wanted to get a variety of experiences from different classes. I've studied courses in digital media, public speaking, debate, and so on, and have gained experiences in broadcasting by volunteering in the field on campus and outside in the community, and working professionally in promotions for a bigger company in the city.I recently expanded my professional background by teaching English in Osaka, gaining new skills and cultural experiences as well as improving on my Japanese language studies.My experience in two drastically different fields has provided me with a variety of skills that would make me marketable in any kind of field. I'm very hands-on and work well in front of and beside others.
